展览 | 阿布拉莫维奇中国首次个展即将开幕

北京光社影像中心很荣幸地宣布，艺术家玛丽娜·阿布拉莫维奇（Marina Abramović）中国首个同名个展即将于2019年3月15日在北京光社影像中心开幕。本次展览将展出阿布拉莫维奇几个重要创作阶段的照片、视频和装置作品，其中多件作品更是首次亮相。

玛丽娜·阿布拉莫维奇被誉为“最激进的行为艺术家之一”，她的表演已经超越了形式的挑衅，并创作出该类型中最重要的作品。不妥协和经常令人震惊的阿布拉莫维奇，其行为艺术创作的核心就是持续不断地试验并探索表演者与观众之间的关系以及肉体的极限与思维的可能性。

本次展览得到里森画廊及艺术家本人的大力支持，展览将持续到2019年6月15日。

LightSociety is proud to present an exhibition by Marina Abramović. Comprised of new and critical past works - many of which have never before been exhibited in China - spanning her 40-year career in the mediums of video, photographs, and sculpture.

Since the beginning of her career in Belgrade during the early 1970s, Marina Abramović has pioneered performance as a visual art form.  The body always has been both her subject and medium. Exploring her physical and mental limits in works that ritualize the simple actions of everyday life, she has withstood pain, exhaustion, and danger in her quest for emotional and spiritual transformation.

Thanks to Lisson Gallery and Marina Abramović for their generous support and engagement. The exhibition will be open until June 15th, 2019.
